These weddings took place in Wilmington, North Carolina and Corolla, Duck, Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head in the Outer Banks. Songs by Billy Joel, The Beatles, Kenny Chesney, Van Morrison, Frank Sinatra and Brad Paisley were all chosen as tributes to fathers and daughters.

To come up with this father daughter dance songs list, we looked at more than 250 wedding song selections to discover the top 50 listed above. While we expected the likes of traditional tunes like “My Little Girl,” “Daughters” and “Brown-Eyed Girl,” we were really surprised by the hard rock ballad “Sweet Child O’ Mine.” We just have to applaud the dads and daughters who took on that one.
