Butterfly wings have been turning up in my life a lot this spring (I’ve been collecting them on my walks!) and so I was inspired to create a wedding inspiration board to start off the week. A beautiful theme for a spring or summer wedding –you can incorporate butterflies in so many ways, from gowns inspired by the gorgeous fluttery creatures, to butterfly shaped cookies or edible sugar butterflies for impressive cake decor. There are so many projects we love that you can make with faux butterflies (typically made of feathers or silk) as well, such as terrariums and bouquets! You could even create many mini terrariums (using jam jars) to scatter about the tables at your reception! And don’t forget to dote upon your bridesmaids with a keepsake gift like the butterfly lockets from Violette & Iris.
