If you take a look at the color wheel, you’ll see that peach and periwinkle are actually opposites, which is why they tango so well together. The softness of these hues lends for a more feminine and pretty combination than their bolder blue and orange counterparts and the hint of blush and purple in peach and periwinkle make for a romantic wedding color palette for spring or summer. Nature gives us periwinkle in the sky at dusk and dawn, in the tiny petals of bluets, and in seashells. However, there are so many shades of peach that you can really take this palette as dark or as light as you’d like, whether it is just a hint of the lightest shade, or bold shades abounding. Use the Pantone color finder and type in ‘peach’ to see what I mean.
