Spotlight: Corrine Smith Design’s Essence of Nature Collection

Corrine Smith Design is proud to announce their illustrious 2012/13 ‘Essence’ bridal accessories collection. The award winning company is gearing up for a busy autumn launching over 20 new pieces internationally during this year’s New York International Bridal Week (October 13-15).

Designed to depict the beauty of nature, the new collection captures the essence of contemporary elegance while retaining a timeless, classic feel. “My aim was to create sensitive representations of organic forms yet in a modern style. Floral accents play a key role and elements of looping vines and flourishing foliage help to create the overall vision.” says Corrine Smith.

With many pieces designed to have a softer more romantic feel the new designs will fit perfectly with the intimate elements of lace used in this season’s dress collections. Freshwater pearls used in many of the designs help to create this soft finish and sparkling Swarovski crystals exude timeless elegance.

The collection includes a selection of simple and organic side head dresses such as the ‘Lizzie’ which exemplifies the vision behind the collection to intricate and sophisticated detailing in headbands such as ‘Honour’ and ‘Wysteria’. Pretty bun vines, combs and pins complete the collection.

Craig & Eva Sanders Photography were the perfect choice to capture the essence and vision of the natural world in this exquisite photo shoot at the magnificent venue of Glennapp Castle, Scotland. This Scottish Baronial castle is set in beautiful and secluded grounds and is an exclusive wedding venue in the Scottish countryside.

The stunning models are Holly, the face of Corrine Smith Design and Stephanie who, one week prior to the photo shoot got married in style in Italy. Hair and make-up was created by the lovely team of Gail Rankin, Bespoke Wedding Hair and Jackie Bruin of Looking Good Makeup.
