Rustic Orange Mountain Wedding by Ashley Davis Photography

Violets, I have a stunning mountain wedding to share with you today! Michelle and Matthew were married in Estes Park, Colorado this August. They accented the naturally gorgeous mountain venue with pops of spicy orange and sunny yellow in their floral and Michelle’s pretty silk shoes! Their intimate wedding ceremony was officiated by Matt’s brother and all four of Matt’s nieces were their flower girls/wedding party. Aren’t they adorable!? I also love the gorgeous photos post-ceremony, of Michelle and Matthew enjoying their first few married moments together along the mountain path and stream. So romantic!

Before the Ring (From Michelle):
Matt and I met at work but didn’t start dating until 2009. We got engaged that fall in Door County, WI during a weekend of hiking and checking out the fall foliage. Matt works as a project manager for an international payroll company. I work in Telecom. We live in downtown Chicago with our pupply, Layla, but we chose to get married in Estes Park because Matt grew up in Colorado and spent many summers and holidays in Estes Park.

Details of the Day:
Everything was absolutely perfect about our wedding. We loved having Matt’s brother, Nick, officiating the ceremony; it was lovely. The day turned out better than we even expected, the weather was perfect and everyone had a great time celebrating. It was also Matt’s niece Delaney’s birthday, so we added birthday candles to the top of the wedding cake for her.
