Joy and Jake were both raised in Southern California and tied the knot at one of the most beautiful wineries in Temecula – Wiens Family Cellars. They met on eHarmony after having subscribed for just a few weeks and on their very first date it was love at first sight. They dated for 7 months before getting engaged (read that story below), and 6 months later were married. The rustic romantic style, creative DIY projects, pretty pink flowers, and loving friends and family made for a touching event surrounded by lush vineyards. This wedding is so full of creative DIY rustic signs it could almost be a continuation of yesterday’s post! Plus we just love their take-a-cork-to-find-your-seat idea. Thank you Lisa Ormsby Photography for sharing this lovely event.
From the Bride…
Proposal story:
Jake invited me over to his house one evening after having spent all day together painting the condo I had recently purchased. When I arrived, he greeted me at the door dressed in his business suit. There were flower petals and candles all over the living room and romantic music playing in the background. He asked me to dance with him, meanwhile I was shocked and ecstatic at what was about to happen. After talking about our love for each other, he got down one knee and proposed. It was a day I will never forget.
