I just love the use of vibrant color in this Hindu wedding ceremony! Aarti and Sukrant are both busy doctors, in their residencies at the time of their wedding last May, and wanted a unique celebration in the Los Angeles area. A private estate in Malibu was the perfect place and managed to hold all 300 guests gracefully! Their Hindu ceremony included traditional Indian wedding colors of gold, red, and orange, but their mandap (covered structure with pillars – typically painted wood) was more organic and suited the outdoor location. After the ceremony Aarti changed from her beautiful red ceremony sari to an equally stunning coral sari for the reception where long tables were adorned with beautiful pink, coral, and fuchsia roses and peonies, candles, and rustic branches. Thank you Ian Grant Photography for sharing this colorful outdoor wedding with us!
