Rustic Barn Chapel Styled Shoot {Megan Hardre Photography}

Holly and Nick were married ten years ago and put together a gorgeous event. Unfortunately, the photographer they’d hired produced unflattering, low-quality images that left them devastated. A decade later, this lovely couple had the opportunity for a “do-over” as the models for this beautiful styled shoot photographed by Megan Hardre Photography and held at the rustic barn chapel in Colorado’s foothills. The Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park was constructed from torn-down cabins, churches, and other structures that were all more than 100 years old. The result is a whimsical, fascinating space featuring the warmth and rusticity of wood, and the charming filtered light of stained glass.

The design of the sweetheart table was inspired by the contrasting elements of the antler chandelier overlooking the main floor of the barn and the delicate details of the antique stained glass windows, handmade in Germany. Lace, crystal and antique broaches added layers of texture and interest. Invitations, bottle labels and the guest book alternative all reflected the antique feel of the venue while the stark white of the chairs brought clean, elegant lines into the rustic space.

The stunning cakes were created to accentuate the delicate features of the venue and keep an elegant element to the event. We love this complimentary trio with exquisite detailing.
