Pink Vintage Garden Wedding {Looking Glass Photography Studio}

Kyndra and Mike are two people who love to have fun and their whimsical wedding details definitely show it. Mike, a pro-cat wrestler, and Kyndra who works for Google, met in high school and have been together for more than nine years. They chose to celebrate their wedding day at The Gardens at Peacock Farms which provided the perfect atmosphere for their blush pink, vintage-inspired theme – complete with vine-covered archways, and a cute gazebo to display some of their cakes (they had eight single-tier cakes in different flavors). We also love that the glamorous bridesmaid dresses were paired with simple baby’s breath bouquets. Above all they weren’t afraid to go with the flow on their big day – Kyndra even cut off the inside of her dress when it got too hot! Thanks to Looking Glass Photography Studio for sharing their inspiring photos!

From the Bride

What is your proposal story?
We were in Carmel, California, and spent the entire day wine tasting and walking around downtown. Then we went to the beach to watch the sunset and Mike proposed!

Inspiration for your wedding theme/details?
Inspiration came from the bridesmaid dresses! I knew once I found the perfect bridesmaid dresses (didn’t matter which color) I could build around that, and of course I wanted a “floral” venue so it did a lot of the work for me!

Most memorable moment/s?
Most memorable moments would be my dad’s speech, the bridal room getting ready (love my girls), and cutting the inside of my dress off because I was so hot! and yes – I actually cut my 3k dress up – wish I had done it even earlier!

Any advice to couples in the planning process?
I work a lot of hours so for me it was all about convenience! Find a venue that most if not all of the work! I kept a “master doc” that had all the vendor contact information, due dates for payments, to-do lists, etc – I only wished I had allowed an additional 10% buffer in my budget considering all the little things that added up last minute!
