Autumn Orchard Engagement by Shoreshotz Photography

I can’t even begin to say how cute this couple is, so I’ll let these photos by Shoreshotz speak for themselves! Kelly and Jay went on an apple picking adventure at Parlee Farms in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts on a beautiful autumn day. You can tell they are totally at ease and had tons of fun among the apple trees, pumpkins, and beautiful wildflowers. Don’t they look great in their country plaids? They have such a wonderful story, which you can read below. Congrats to Kelly and Jay!

From Kelly:

Jay and I met while we were both in college. I went to Mass. College of Pharmacy and he went to Northeastern. I had been working at Children’s Hospital doing my intern hours for about 2 years before I met Jay. Every 4 months we would get a new group of Co-Op students from Northeastern. We would each have to take one student to show around and train. I overheard some of the techs talking about one of the tall co-ops and they kept calling him Thor. So as fate would have it, I was assigned Jay whom I continuously called Thor that first day of training. Jay did not once correct me. I found out later that he thought I was making fun of him. Needless to say, we didn’t start out on the best foot. Once he realized I was not a jerk we built a strong and fun friendship over the course of the co-op. We actually didn’t start dating until afterwards and the rest is history.

Fast forward a couple of years – we were on our way to attend annual employee appreciation Spirit of Boston cruise. Just before we left Jay got down on his right knee, realized the ring was in his left pocket, got down on both knees so he could get the ring out, and proposed. We celebrated the night away with the same people who were there to see our relationship grow from day one. The same people who knew we were going to be together before we even did : )
