Merry Christmas Eve, Violets! I have a wonderful mountain wedding inspiration shoot for you today, coming to us from the Canadian Rockies. The breathtaking Crescent Falls provided the perfect backdrop for the rustic concept dreamed up by photographer Melanie Bennett. Rich merlot, burgundy, and blush florals are paired with a handmade wood table set at the edge of the rocky river – I can almost feel the cool fresh air, and taste the lovely home baked winter desserts the tables are set with. Wood slice plate chargers, herb green pottery, and pomegranates make these place settings the epitome of a rustic winter table. Berries, cheese, a mossy table runner, and a naked cake bring an earthiness to the scene that we absolutely love. And the photos of the bride and groom at the waterfall are the stuff of an outdoorsy bride’s dreams! Enjoy and have a very happy holiday! We’ll see you back here next week.
