Inspiration for Rustic Vintage Centerpieces with Milk Glass Vases and Apothecary Jars

by in — Updated March 29, 2017

There are so many options for centerpieces and table décor with a rustic vintage vibe, but a few of our favorites are truly very simple to do yourself. I’m talking about using vintage style milk glass vases or apothecary jars, both of which you can find a fine selection of (at great prices!) at LunaBazaar.com. Let’s take a look…

Luna Bazaar Vintage Milk Glass Vases

Group several different sizes and styles together with wildflowers for a rustic look, or roses and ranunculus for a garden chic look for example. The white color also makes a brilliant background for bright punchy colors! Try grouping magenta peonies, peach tulips, and yellow ranunculus in various milk glass containers. The more the merrier. Line an entire long table down the center with them for one continuous display. Tie a little note around the neck of each with bakers twine and write “take me home” for your guests to pick and choose one as a favor at the end of the night. Have several left over after the big event? They make for gorgeous décor on a mantle or centerpieces for your own kitchen table which you can fill with seasonal blooms for years to come.

Luna Bazaar Apothecary Jars

Apothecary jars are another super fun and versatile piece! These evoke instant vintage charm and you can fill them with various candies on a dessert table, with fruit or flowers, natural elements such as acorns, pinecones, or pretty stones, or even create little terrariums inside them for magical woodland centerpieces. Later on you can fill them with pretty craft supplies (buttons, ribbons etc) or fill them with things like different types of pasta in your kitchen, or pretty soaps in your bathroom.
