The soft feminine watercolor shades and free-flowing bohemian details of this shoot caught my eye right away and I knew I had to share it with you! Joy Michelle Photography worked with many Maryland-local small businesses and Etsy shop owners to create a unique blend of stylistic elements. She was inspired by the Bohemian trend that has been resurfacing recently, but wanted to add a fresh spin to it by “blending the traditional elements (veil, cake, paper goods) with edgy details like amethyst crystal soap favors, barefoot sandals, mixed metals, and handmade jewelry pieces,” she says. Removing the limitations of “traditional” or “non-traditional” design elements created a new look altogether – one that we completely love!
