There are few scents so intoxicating as that of fresh herbs. I love to add sage, mint, lavender, and other varieties to my bouquets. Besides adding fragrance to your wedding day, herbs can provide unique colors and textures – from soft greens to shiny purples, with varied leaves and delicate flowers. Look for unexpected varieties like chocolate mint or lime basil, and create a signature blend of smells and flavors. Feeling ambitious? Your local plant nursery may be able to pot-up live herbs that can serve as décor on the big day, and then be moved into your garden or kitchen window to continue growing.
