I’ve been slightly obsessed with wedding accessories for a while now…okay that’s an understatement – I’m extremely obsessed, and lately I’ve been especially interested in bridal caps (also known as cloche hats). These pieces, which were popular in the 1920’s, exude a vintage flair that is utterly romantic. They help to frame the face and complete a bridal look quite unlike any other. I’ve gathered some of my absolute favorites from current designers, and also decided to try my own hand at making a bridal cap for Violette & Iris. You can see the almost finished result at the end.
