As a nature-inspired wedding blog, we couldn’t be more thrilled that Pantone’s color of 2017 is Greenery. Not only is this emblematic color of the natural world soothing to the soul, it signifies growth, balance, rebirth, vitality, and in some countries it is even considered holy. When it comes to weddings there are infinite ways to include more greenery and though it might seem a bold color, it can actually be treated as a neutral. Whether you use it as an underlying neutral in your wedding décor, or prefer to use it as a vibrant accent, it is sure to put a smile on your face.
“Greenery bursts forth in 2017 to provide us with the reassurance we year for amid a tumultuous social and political environment. Satisfying our growing desire to rejuvenate and revitalize, Greenery symbolizes the reconnection we seek with nature, one another and a larger purpose.” – Leatrice Eisman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute
