We’ve been thinking about deep red lately. Maybe it’s because January’s birthstone is Garnet, or perhaps it’s because Valentine’s Day is around the corner. Of course, fall and winter weddings are awash in gorgeous shades of red, from apples to holly berries. This palette can be bold or sweet, light or luscious, depending on the colors you pair with it. Combine with dark blackberry hues for a sultry look, or add a dash of pink or silver-green for something fresh and reminiscent of warm weather. It’s easy to add a little (or a lot) of this color to your big day: from flowers and lipstick, to red velvet cake and a signature drink.
