Amy and Scott’s beautiful navy and pink wedding took place at a picturesque arboretum in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Even with a few raindrops during their ceremony it was the perfect day! The trees and flowers were all in full bloom and with the natural beauty of the surroundings and bright glow of fuchsia in the bouquets and umbrellas, one barely notices the cloudy sky. The JMU arboretum was an appropriate venue for these two as they met at JMU when they were enrolled in a reading Master’s Program. Both interested in the other but too nervous to ask each other on a date, it wasn’t until the last year of their Master’s program that Scott got up the nerve to ask Amy out! Amy teaches first grade and Scott is a fourth grade teacher. Thank you Gayle Driver Photography for sharing their lovely day with us. We wish them all the best!
