Over the last year and a half I have put my heart and soul into creating Sweet Violet Bride, and as many of you have heard, we are expanding with a biannual print and digital magazine in addition to the daily blog. The idea has evolved, with plenty of input from people all over the country (and world!), into a publication where the most beautiful natural light wedding photography and nature inspired wedding ideas will be showcased.
I am grateful to each and every person who has made this possible and provided support, and encouragement along the way. I am also thankful for the community that has emerged out of Sweet Violet Bride, and for the wedding community as a whole. We are now drawing upon the strength of this community to “crowdfund” and take this project to the next level. Today we launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund the newsstand promotion we’ll need to purchase in order to get prime placement in Barnes & Noble.
