Oh, how I love a garden wedding! Sean and Mary met in Guatemala where they were both working as Peace Corps Volunteers. They lived on opposite ends of the country but managed to meet one weekend when both had to travel to the capital city. After a few years in Guatemala they moved to Washington, DC together! They had their destination wedding in Austin, Texas at Green Pastures. The gorgeous garden provided a magical, romantic setting for their first-look photos and then they were serenaded by peacocks and flowers in full bloom as they made their way to the pavilion for their ceremony. A bit of rain didn’t take away from their celebration, but made it even more memorable as everyone brought out their umbrellas and had a good laugh. Mary’s rustic chic look was completed with a mussed blossom braid and simple sheath dress, and they sent their guests home with plantable favors – the perfect way to remember such a botanically beautiful day!

This garden wedding was so perfect at Green Pastures, as it was accented by the giant oak trees and the family of peacocks that lived in the trees. The queen anne’s lace in the brides hair is so delicate and pretty! Loving the green, white and natural color palette as well!
