Dixie and Jordan tied the knot at the lovely outdoor venue that is Stephens Lake Park, in Columbia, Missouri. These two met in high school through a mutual circle of friends and remained friends for a long time before they started dating. Jordan proposed during a volunteer trip in Cape Coast, Ghana. Having spent three weeks there they finally had a day to themselves, and headed to the beach. “As the sun was setting, we went for a walk down the beach and he proposed to me at the end of our walk,” says Dixie. Fast forward to their big day and Dixie, with her Hollywood smile and gorgeous red locks, was a site to behold in her sweetheart gown (and she has one of the coolest tattoos I’ve ever seen!). She arranged the fiery calla lily bouquet herself and friends and family helped with most other details of the day.
