Afton Villa Gardens Wedding by Joie du Jour Photography

I am completely in love with this venue, where Lauren and John tied the knot. Afton Villa Gardens, in St. Francisville, Louisiana, is the picture-perfect place for a garden wedding. Lauren and John had beautiful weather and a laid back picnic-style reception on the green. Bright purple and yellow flowers made up the pretty bouquets by Fleur Du Jour – the daffodils so lovely and indicative of spring. I love the way they set up little spaces for people to eat and chat with chairs, blankets, and vintage finds. And their dance floor? Why it’s the lawn itself! In fact, I think not having a designated dance floor, at least for outdoor weddings, can be freeing. Your guests may even bust a move like the kid at the end of this post!
