Katelyn and Michael held their wedding on the rustic Whidbey Island in Washington State. The island is a serene location in the midst of Puget Sound and was an especially fitting place for these two to exchange wedding vows as it also happens to be the backdrop for Katelyn and Michael’s love story. They met and fell in love on the Island in High School. They let the natural beauty of the surroundings take reign in their wedding style and embellished with bouquets of ferns and floral in lovely shades of peach, pink, and periwinkle. Monica of Mo Hines Photography says of this wedding, “It reminds me of the quote from Voltaire, ‘love is a canvas furnished by nature and embroidered by imagination.’” We couldn’t agree more!
