Erika and Tyson had their engagement shoot in a beautiful garden in Malibu, California. The lush botanicals provided a romantic setting and Erika planned so many cute outfits! Of course, what better way to end the day in Malibu but on the beach? They met in 2007 on Tyson’s first night in California. He was starting at Citrus College to play football in hopes of landing a scholarship to a university and Erika was half way through her sophomore year playing softball and studying communications at Azusa Pacific University. They became friends and a few months later Tyson asked her out on a date. Tyson accepted a football scholarship at the University of Nebraska in 2008 and after enduring more than a year apart, Tyson returned to California to finish his college football career at APU. 5 years to the day after they met, he proposed. Congratulations you two!
