Wedding Color Palette: Brass

Used for centuries by civilizations around the globe, brass is prized for its malleability and shine. A combination of copper and zinc, this popular alloy is gold’s less flashy cousin and can add a deep metallic flair to your wedding color scheme. Pair it with dark soulful hues or use it to add “pop” to a neutral or pastel palette. Both vintage and modern brass jewelry and table settings are plentiful, and these tones can be incorporated in your flowers, shoes, and makeup. My favorite thing about brass? I love that as it ages (or is artificially aged), brass develops a verdigris patina that lends it a weathered, timeless look.
