Eric and Emily met as Park Rangers at the Cape Hatteras National Seashore and spent the last six years traveling, birdwatching, eating good food, camping, playing yard and board games, going to thrift stores and arguing over who has the better record collection. They recently moved to Boise, Idaho while Eric completes his Masters, but getting married on the east coast was important to them. As Emily’s family has a lot of great memories of attending the Shakori Hills festival, they threw a mini-festival wedding. “It really felt like Hitchfest went off without a hitch,” says the bride and groom. “And we know it was because of our family and friends, who put so much time into making it such a special day for us!” Heirloom Collective is behind the lens.
