SPRING HILL MANOR

FEATURED
VENDOR
Spring Hill Manor was just named one of the BEST 100 Country Theme Wedding Venues in the United States (two were chosen from each state).

We supply tables and chairs but not table linens (most caterers supply linens at 'cleaning cost' only). You are free to use a caterer of your choice, we can help with recommendations if you would like. The site is not equipped with heating or air conditioning equipment, it has rarely been elected during our months of operation; we do permit the use of 'safety certified' portable equipment to be brought to the site. Our maximum capacity is 180 guests. Our pricing runs from $3000 to $ 7500 depending upon the date and day of the week that you choose.

The barn (built in 1844) is framed with massive hand hewn beams, secured with wooden pegs and decorated with an eclectic assortment of antiques, art and stained glass. The museum like presentation, however, does not interfere with the casual, rustic mood of our events. The farmland surrounding the venue is tended by horse-drawn farm equipment (by my Amish neighbors) which, coupled with the country pond vista and the wildlife that it attracts, contributes a tranquil ambiance for your day. The description of Spring Hill Manor used most frequently by Brides and guests is "magical".

The gardens at Spring Hill are designed to resemble old English estate gardens. The garden walks and walls are constructed with granite cobblestone recovered from the 'old' streets of Baltimore; the plantings have been selected to provide color, texture and interest in every season, and fairies, fountains, and farm antiques hide in the garden foliage to delight your guests. For our Fall events, we bring in truck loads of pumpkins to add a 'harvest' feel to the grounds. Every wedding brings its unique personality to our venue, but two elements are guaranteed; Your Spring Hill Wedding will not be like any other wedding and it will be anything but "ordinary".

The following 'list' may help you to quickly fill your own 'check off list' and aid you in choosing (or eliminating) our venue from your 'possibilities' list;

We enjoy the highest 'bride rating' in the industry and received the "Couples' Choice Awards" for 2015. What our past brides say about us is far more relevant than the 'self-serving' information that I might provide to you; I hope you will check out our reviews at 'Wedding Wire', or any other site that offers venue reviews.

You can view a collection of photos of the venue at our website - springhillmanor.com; and more photos on 'Pintrest.com' (search under 'Spring Hill Manor Barn Weddings').

Please call or e-mail if I can provide any additional information for you; 410-658-3815; [email protected]. Our eclectic, 'outside of the box', style of wedding is not for every couple, but most couples know, instantly, when they visit, if we are a perfect fit for their Wedding vision. I hope you can schedule an appointment to see the barn.

Call or email me to arrange a time to visit. Subject to scheduling conflicts, I am generally available for scheduling a visit on weekdays (including evenings), and on Saturdays and on Sunday mornings.

I look forward to showing Spring Hill Manor to you - pictures simply do not capture the 'mood' of Spring Hill.
