Boho Styled Shoot at Stonebrook Manor

Hello, lovelies! We’ve got something special for you to enjoy today. We all know that the holidays are never an excuse to gush over fall color themed designs and bohemian inspired wedding schemes. Which is why today, we’ll be looking at the sweetest photos from Linda Murri Photography’s Boho Styled Shoot at Stonebrook Manor. From what I’ve seen so far, the gorgeous fall colors of pinks, oranges, reds, and greens with accents of gold were phenomenal! So, let’s just scroll down below and see what else they’ve got in store for us, shall we?

We’re All About the Details!

Linda has been hoping to do a bohemian themed styled shoot for several years and this one came together just like what she dreamed of, with a gorgeous couple that is actually engaged and getting married in February. The dress is a Madison James dress. A lace-covered dress that has a long beautiful train. The theme inspired the fall color theme of pinks, oranges, reds, greens, and gold.

The Florals

Lehrer’s Flowers provided colorful florals of oranges, yellows, and pinks: a flower crown (perfect with the theme and colors), a boutonniere, a gorgeous bridal bouquet, and centerpiece.

Reception Essentials

Hadley Designs designed the invitation suite, matching fans, name cards, and framed table number. Merry Expressions provided an alternate table number of an actual gold table number on a stick to stand above the place setting.

The Bundt Cakes

The Bundt Shoppe had a beautiful display of a variety of bundt cakes: White chocolate raspberry, orange creamsicle, strawberry, and chocolate on gold display dishes with “jewels” of glass hanging below. Very elegant touch and delicious, too! Pam wanted the cakes to reflect the colorful theme of the shoot. They look perfect displayed on either the gorgeous table linens of Event Rents or in the wishing well.

Little Details!

One of our favorite parts of the shoot was all of the smaller details the planner, Corinna, of Amber Creek Weddings and Events provided. Small succulents, signs, and macrame pieces. She even hand-crocheted some of them herself!

The Stonebrook Manor

Stonebrook Manor also has a “Lovegate” where the bridal couple can hang a lock with their initials. It is one of the most beautiful venues close to Denver with stunning gardens full of flowers, a marble gazebo, and waterfalls. A wedding pavilion and pergola are also perfect places for the ceremony. The venue also can cater any event with their own personal chefs. The venue has two large ballrooms with chandeliers.

Take this Advice

If you are designing a bohemian theme for your wedding, add a variety of beautiful flowers and incorporate lots of lace and little accents like succulents into your wedding design. ~Linda Murri/Photographer

Anna Campbell’s Intimate Rustic Wedding

When a dress designer gets married you can expect her to wear one heck of a gorgeous gown – or in this case, four gorgeous gowns. Founder and Creative Director, Anna Campbell, married her long-time partner and best friend, Murray Thompson in a romantic and rustic ceremony at historic Andersons Mill in Smeaton, Victoria. The pair celebrated their love in true style with many personalized details, from the DIY cocktail menu and floral styling to the design and styling of the bride’s custom gowns. “While four dresses might seem like a lot, for me one was just not enough!” says the designer. “The day is made up of so many different moments, I wanted to ensure I had the perfect dress, with just the right amount of lace or sparkle, for each part of the day.” Brown Paper Parcel Photography is behind the lens. From Anna Campbell:

My first dress was worn to our first look at Lavandula, a beautiful Swiss Lavender farm, with sweeping lavender fields. I wanted a free-moving dress that flowed beautifully, but that was still sparkly and special enough to be the first dress Murray saw me in.

Walking down the aisle was the moment I had always dreamt of, and I wanted to be wearing something truly incredible and sparkly, so I created my ceremony dress with thousands of shimmering beads. Knowing how the dress would sparkle under the vintage lights of the barn, I couldn’t resist being embellished head to toe!

My third dress, worn upon arrival at the reception and for our sunset photos, was very fitted and intricately beaded, with gorgeous off the shoulder tulle sleeves. Although I was nervous to wear the fitted, mermaid shape, it created the most incredible silhouette, and it ended up being my Murray’s favourite!

The final dress was always designed to be my party dress! It was very simple, made of a soft Japanese lace, with an embellished belt detail. It was so much lighter than all of the other dresses, and so fun to dance in!

Anna Campbell is excited to announce that a new collection, inspired by each of her four custom gowns and the feelings of joy and excitement experienced by walking down the aisle, is currently underway and will be available to Anna Campbell brides later in 2016.

Rustic Mint + Taupe Alabama Barn Wedding

Ruthie and Rush had their beautiful barn wedding at the Russell Lands On Lake Martin, Alabama. They picked three words to build their wedding on: simple, elegant, rustic. “We wanted the wedding to not be a show, but a real and honest look into our relationship and how much we love one another. We also wanted everyone to have fun so we picked a great band and good food!” says Ruthie. Bridesmaids wore beautiful pale mint lace dresses and the bouquets were made of beautiful petals in shades of white, peach, light blush, and green. Ruthie wore a gown with full tulle skirt for the ceremony and then changed into a fun knee length bohemian dress and flower crown for the barn reception. Romantic Vermont Wedding at West Monitor Barn

This Chicago couple tied the knot on a beautiful July day in Vermont’s Green Mountains. Ramona and Jack were so excited to host their destination wedding in the state of their Alma Mater, Middlebury College and their vision of a dreamy ceremony in a field and reception inside a large barn came to life at the West Monitor Barn in Richmond, Vermont. The barn was lit with gorgeous twinkle lights and candles, providing the perfect amount of light for a romantic ambiance, and featured exquisite bouquets and centerpieces styled by Nectar & Root. Bridesmaids wore pale mint dresses, each design slightly different, which complemented the whimsical bouquets in shades of peach, bright pink, coral, and green. Read below for many more details! Details of the Day – from the photographer:

The girls looked gorgeous as they helped Ramona into her stunning modern crocheted lace dress that perfectly complimented her soft but whimsical personality. A little whimsy was added to the guys’ attire with varying colorful socks. There were many special touches to the day that provided glimpses into Ramona and Jack’s upbeat and colorful personalities – Ramona’s heirloom vintage jewelry that belonged to her grandmother, including her engagement ring, Jack’s tie that featured stick figure runners as a homage to his love of running, indulging in local pie for desert, their fun interactive couples’ toast, and their photo booth guest book in lieu of a traditional guest book. These unconventional aspects of the event made this night truly memorable.

Adding to the evening were the surprises for the bride and groom! The groom’s father surprised the couple with a room full of sparklers during his speech which looked simply magical in the dimly lit barn and the groom’s mother surprised them with Ben & Jerry’s Catering. Seeing the looks on their faces for not one, but two surprises made everyone’s night. A favorite part of their ceremony was their vows: honest, romantic, and unique to their relationship. Their vows told the story of their love and we were able to learn so much more about each of them because of it. We especially loved the line, “I promise to trust in the strength of our relationship because we’re better together,” confirming that these two belonged together.

Yellow and Grey Prairie Wedding in Alberta, Canada

Rolling fields of wheat, cheerful pops of yellow, summery bouquets and moody storm clouds made for a sweet country wedding for Leah and Jordan! They held their summer ceremony under a gazebo at Clymont Hall where their family decorated with flower baskets they grew themselves. The yellow and grey color scheme was carried throughout the day from the ceremony to the bride’s grandparent’s house where they had a photo session. Gorgeous storm clouds filled the sky adding to the natural color scheme. The rain poured just as they headed to their reception hall, also decorated with beautiful yellow flowers. “I grew up on a farm, and Jordan’s family also had some farming background as well so it was the perfect location for us! It was so beautiful with all the wheat fields, large trees and old barns,” says Leah. Melanie Bennett Photography is behind the lens.

From the Bride…

Before the Ring:
Jordan and I grew up in a small town and had known of each other in high school but we both had different groups of friends and interests. In 2011 I was waitressing at a local pub and Jordan would come in after work sometimes with his coworkers. After a while, I began to notice he was coming in more often and would sit in my section every chance he could. We started talking a lot and getting to know each other, and he would pick me up early in the mornings after my shift ended. He would sit with me while I did my cash out then drive me home. We started dating shortly after.

The Proposal Story:
Jordan proposed end of August 2014 while we were camping with friends. We had recently purchased a side by side and were about to head out quadding for the day when Jordan asked me to put the registration in the glove box. As I opened the glove box, a gorgeous ring was sitting inside. I was so shocked! He got down on one knee and asked if I would spend the rest of my life with him as his wife and I said yes right away! He was so nervous that he was shaking and we had a good laugh about it afterwards.

‘Where the Wild Things Are’ Styled Wedding Inspiration

This may just be one of my favorite styled shoots yet! This creative team of wedding artists took the classic story we all know from childhood and created a gorgeous love story with a wild tablescape, details of leather, fur, and feathers, and a wildy textured bouquet in rich shades of purple, yellow, red and blue. Many scenes from the book were incorporated – from Max’s bedroom growing in to the world all around him to sailing to a far off land. He is made king and makes his wild thing his queen. Their entire day is spent in the wilderness, embracing the beautiful scenery around them. Their day of extraordinary adventure ended with a wild rumpus, of course. Rustic + Bright Wisconsin Wedding at the Enchanted Barn

This colorful wedding might be just what we needed during the mid-winter blahs! Bright pops of orange, yellow, and red made for a lively celebration at the Enchanted Barn in Hillsdale, Wisconsin. These playful colors along with succulents and air plants for added texture created a wild bouquet that I’m completely obsessing over! The rustic venue was the perfect place as Jordan grew up around horses and working in barns. The non-traditional aspects of the Enchanted Barn also appealed to Jordan and Joel. The two, who met at work, created a lot of DIY details for their special day with the help of friends and family. Eileen K Photography is behind the lens.

From the Bride…

The proposal story:
We took a motorcycle road trip out to Yellowstone National Park in July 2013 where we were camping and seeing the sights of the park. Joel proposed to me at Inspiration Point which overlooks the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone at sunset while I was taking copious amounts of pictures of the rising full moon. When I turned around he was down on one knee and I of course said YES! I almost toppled off the edge of the canyon in my excitement, but thankfully my new fiancé grabbed me! It was a really special moment and we were all alone – which rarely happens anywhere in Yellowstone in July.

Details / Inspiration for the wedding day?
I grew up riding horses and working in barns, and we loved the outdoor setting for our wedding because we are outdoorsy people that liked the non-traditional aspects of the Enchanted Barn. I used Pinterest and The Knot to come up with a lot of the inspirations. We did a lot of DIY with the help of our family for the details which was a fun aspect and kept costs relatively low. We are lucky to have such talented and generous friends and family that helped to make all of our inspirations come true. We wanted to be true to who we are as a couple- and I think we achieved that with all of our details and the location. Our vendors were also amazing at helping to make our inspirations come to life, and they were all such a pleasure to work with.

Most memorable moment/s?
The intimacy of our wedding surrounded by our favorite people and officiated by my aunt. The mules running through the pasture behind the barn during our vows. All of our personal touches that made our day very genuine and true to who we are as a couple.

When I sit down at the end of each year to sift through each and every post to find my “favorites” it is always a humbling experience, and a difficult task. I’ve been able to share the work of so many talented photographers and I love them all! However, I ended up narrowing it down to a dozen real weddings and a dozen styled shoots that really stuck with me this year. Artsy Industrial Wedding with Rustic + Vintage Details

This is our last wedding feature of 2015, but it also happens to be one of my favorites! You can just tell Brandy and Peter have an amazing love story – which they do. They’ve been together since high school and have been on a whirlwind of adventures together. They currently live in NYC while Brandy gets her MFA but the Sloss Furnaces in their hometown of Birmingham, AL was a special place for them and the perfect backdrop for their wedding day. j.woodbery photography shot a combination of film and digital for this artistic couple (Brandy is a designer and painter and Peter is a musician). I’m in love with their fabulous style and the details they chose – from the woodland bouquets and centerpieces to Brandy’s vintage inspired Hayley Paige gown and Peter’s rustic cotton boutonniere.
