Today’s feat will bring us a a lot of dream catchers, floral garlands and splashes of sumptuous color. Adam and Lauren’s eclectic bohemian wedding was complete with 70’s style hippie inspirations. The 1960s Volkswagen Photobus was a gorgeous and funky touch, and the kooky DJ spinning only vinyl classics lent a timeless energy to the festivities. The bride’s handmade dream catchers brought effervescence and softness, and floral garlands and arrangements brought splashes of sumptuous color. The reception was interrupted by a freak thunderstorm, so there was a touch of wildness and excitement to the evening! All was resolved with a gorgeous rainbow and sunset, and cartwheels and dancing under the stars!

The Photographer’s Advice

Sometimes, it’s the things that you don’t plan for that make your day the most memorable. Revel in the moment, and do it your own way. When in doubt, dance!

A Green and Organic Affair

The Bride and Groom Ensembles

The bride dressed in Signature Bridal Salon court train lace dress exhibits a classic southern belle. The cascading bouquet made up of roses and foliage added a glam and rustic touch to her whole look. The groom’s blue suit sure is classic and sophisticated — a little change from the traditional black suit. And instead of a pocket square, the groom got a pad of tiny succulents to stay with the succulents and organic theme.

The Ceremony Venue

The big window creates for a dramatic lighting that gives a mysterious silhouette as the bride enters. Such a breathtaking scene! The candle chandelier and succulents lining the aisle complemented well the simpleness of the barn.

Each table was designed to subtle and dainty to bear the southern vibes.

The Buffet Table

The elaborate centerpieces and table runners are definitely out of the norm! I love the green lush spread on the buffet tables along with the fresh fruits and veggies. Succulents were also significant in the theme they were going for. Looking at these photos made me hungry! What a feast!

A Wedding Concert For Two

Check out this couple who pulled off a wedding concert! Yes, Daren and Jane are both musicians, so it was inevitable that music was a huge part of the day. The couple performed the night away. It is such a joyous and offbeat way in celebrating a big day! Entertaining the guest while having a ton of fun — talk about hitting two birds with one stone! Check out the band stage where they also exchanged their I do’s.

The Venue

Mercury Cafe’s dance hall looked like a starry sky with all the fairy lights hovering the venue. It set a festive yet romantic mood. The wedding ceremony was where the band is setup. The groom and the bridal party walked down the aisle up to the stage and played the band as Jane was coming up to join them!

The Dress Code

Everyone was dressed to party and have fun! The bridesmaids were dressed in a color scheme — red, yellow, orange. Don’t forget the cowboy boots and flower crowns!

Two Setups For A Woodsy Bohemian Wedding

With two beautiful table setting that showcases different styles, this stylized shoot done by Kelly McWilliams will give you options for your much anticipated outdoor bohemian wedding. The Bridal Style

The bride wore this Adrianna Papell dress that has a 20’s vibe which I think is elegant and chic. It actually goes well with the woodsy bohemian theme. Plus that vibrant bouquet completed her whole look. LOVE!

The Mini Cocktail Bar

This is the cocktail trolley I was talking about! I’ve always wanted something like this in my house for whenever a random house party goes down. When you have this on your reception it’d be like a water cooler feels. It’s a great thing for small talks and catching ups!

Table Setting #1

Kelly Williams wanted to show two different styles of an outdoor bohemian wedding with these two table settings. The first one is a traditional setup with fancy crockery in muted blues and gold. This setup leans toward a little more formal setup.

Table Setting #2

The second setup is I’d say more bohemian and raw but staying elegant. It’s more of a casual sit down occasion. Instead of the fancy crockery, wooden plated were used. Kelly also did some foraging to use as the centerpiece — very organic!
