DIY: Moss Ring Pillow

by in — Updated July 10, 2013

This cute little ring pillow is so fun and easy to make and we love that it takes on a new woodsy style in place of the traditional, frilly pillow. Ring pillows are customarily used so that the young ring bearer doesn’t have to carry them by hand (eek, can’t you just imagine the mishaps!) The rings are special, after all, and deserve a bit of ceremonial procession all their own (and you can always fasten facsimile rings to the moss pillow if you still don’t want to entrust your platinum bands to a preschooler). This DIY idea is brought to you by Paper & Stitch. This project could also easily be turned into a unique ornament at place settings with perhaps a name card attached. 2. we made our “pillow” out of bright green button mums and had the rings attached with a blush pink satin ribbon–it matched our colors and the the effect was great. I need to find a pic. . .
