Autumn Boston Engagement by Aubrey B. Greene Photography

The autumn light in this Boston engagement shoot is so lovely glowing through the red maples leaves, and flowing willow branches. Chelsea and Michael met as kids over bug juice while at summer camp in Connecticut. Though they made each other woven friendship bracelets that summer, they went to separate schools until they attended college at the University of Connecticut. Soon after, Michael’s parents bought a house next to Chelsea’s parents and suddenly they were friends, classmates, and also neighbors. They began dating their senior year and quickly fell in love. Their beautiful smiles certainly emit that love and joy in these photos. Read below for their engagement story.

Autumn Engagement

From Chelsea:
I think we always knew it was forever, as we purchased a puppy soon on our first formal date! Raising the dog and moving to Boston kept us on our toes, but it has made for constant excitement. Four years of dating later and Michael proposed with an art deco ring at the end of a scavenger hunt though Boston. Now I get to marry “the boy next door.” I want to take my time planning the wedding, so I thought an engagement shoot would be a great way to revel in the Cloud 9 feeling post-engagement. The colors seemed so vibrant this past fall and my heart was so full that I just felt compelled to have really lovely photos of it all. I knew just who to track down for the job. We met our photographer Aubrey Greene (a former neighbor of mine here in Boston!) on Boston Common and she got to snapping. She was so kind and encouraging that Michael and I lost all jitters and had a wonderful time through the shoot. Aubrey captured so many feelings in her photos that I know I’ll love looking back on these for the rest of my life.
