Beware! the joy expressed in these photos is contagious! It might leave a smile on your face for the rest of the day. Heather grew up in the Catskills and always envisioned a rustic Catskill wedding, representative of how she was raised. Good food, good music, and good company. She met Ryan when she moved to Florida and couldn’t wait to introduce him to old Woodstock. These two love birds got creative in composing the details of their big day. I absolutely love the honey jar favors with little bees painted on the lids, the chalk board signs, and table of antique family wedding photos. Their celebration is so inspirational! Have a lovely weekend, Violets!
From the Bride: Rustic, mix & match antique was the theme and from there our summer weekends consisted of drives all over little towns in search of our decor. We found everything from antlers to antique table cloths, old tins and many more treasures. I had some old pictures of our family’s wedding photos also displayed to add to the antique look. We wanted to show pictures of us over the years so we made a collage in an old shabby window pane. We also made our cupcake stands with old candle holders and cool antique plates. With some trial and error and really strong glue it absolutely worked. We also had a photo booth area with a little Fuji Polaroid camera and little props from Etsy. We hung old-fashioned frames with twine from the pavilion. With the help of my lovely sister, mom and friends the vision came alive.
