Sweet DIY Country Wedding {Captured by Belinda}

by in — Updated February 13, 2015

Brittany and Brett, who met through mutual friends, held their backyard wedding at a family residence in Florida and it was filled with sweet DIY details and gorgeous country style. Pink, yellow, and white blooms went beautifully with the soft blush bridesmaid dresses and kept the cowgirl boot look ultra feminine. Rustic signs, little favor jars of honey, and a wood arch decorated in sunflowers and baby’s breath were among the country style details that make this wedding stand out. Thank you Captured by Belinda for sharing with us!

From the Bride:

Inspiration for the details of the wedding day?
I am a Southern girl all the way and in love with all things natural that relate to my country lifestyle.  I wanted lots of lots of color, pastels, that all blended together very well.  I love the way it turned out.

Most memorable moment/s?
Just having all of our family who we all cherish being there.  I also loved our first dance simply because we don’t dance often.

Any advice to couples in the planning process?
I would have definitely hired a planner.  I also would have started planning further out in advance so I didn’t forget things I wanted in my wedding. Never wait until the last minute to start planning.  Also definitely write all of your ideas down in one spot so that you do not forget.  My biggest thing was running out of time and forgetting things that I wanted to do.
